At Ascend Financial, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve financial stability and independence — regardless of their income or background. As a nonprofit organization based in the Knoxville Metropolitan Statistical Area, our mission is to provide responsible, affordable financial alternatives to individuals living at or below 80% of the area median income.
Many of the individuals we serve face barriers to traditional financing and are often forced to turn to payday or title lenders during times of financial crisis. Ascend Financial was created to change that.
Our vision is a financially empowered community — one where individuals have the tools, education, and support they need to move from surviving to thriving.
